 We have been taking advantage of all the cool day trips at our fingertips since moving to San Diego. One of our favorites thus far has been driving to Julian with friends to pick apples. Nothing screams the start of Fall like apple picking, and Volcan Valley Apple Farm was the perfect place to get our fix.    The kids had a blast and filled up their bags quickly with delicious apples. They ate so many straight from the trees, too (oops!). We went the weekend before Julian Apple Days, which I highly recommend since it is less crowded and there are still plenty of apples to pick.    We are looking forward to many more Fall activities in San Diego, including a pumpkin patch visit! I would love to hear your favorite activities in the area!
