San Diego Newborn Photography | Fiona Fresh 48 Session | Scripps La Jolla Hospital

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet baby Fiona when she was barely 2 days old at Scripps Memorial in San Diego for a Fresh 48 session. A Fresh 48 session is done, you guessed it, within the first day or two after baby arrives. It is meant to document the newness and first moments of life before heading home to the real world - the first diaper changes and swaddles, the first feedings and snuggles, the first visitors, and other tiny details that may seem like a distant memory once the new family is home and into their new routine.
Her parents were so incredibly sweet and doting on this precious baby girl. Sometimes I cannot believe it is my job to get to document precious memories like these.
