'L' Family | Del Mar, San Diego | Family Photo Session

Who says family photos are only for those with little kids? I am here to tell you they are so important at ANY stage in life. These sweet parents came to visit their son who is stationed here in San Diego before he headed out for a long deployment. His sister also flew in from the East coast to join in the family vacation fun. These siblings had reached out to me a few months back because they wanted to gift their parents a family session during this trip. When kids grow up, jobs, school, new families and other obligations make scheduling family time challenging  (gosh, this reminds me so much of my own siblings and parents), so when it finally happens the time together is that much sweeter. 

We met up at my favorite beach in Del Mar for their session. Let me just say that with families like this... it is easy to forget that I am actually working because we have so much fun together. I laughed so hard with all four of them and am so grateful for the opportunity to photograph this stage in their lives.
